The ghost tour was a fun and educational tour. Going at night probably added more spookiness compared to visiting during the day.

The tour guides, Elena and Costa, were really knowledgeable about the history of the gaol and the stories of some of the prisoners. I didn’t feel a presence of any ghosts on the tour, but it was fun trying to use the gadgets provided to get a reading. I’m not sure of the accuracy of some of the gadgets though.

Entertaining people and a night out of the weather.

We love Adelaide Gaol, so much history there, so add that into a night walk, a bit of history, and a bit of a scare factor it was great. Took my 15 year old daughter who loved it, will definitely do it again. Being a small group it worked well, and it was good to see they only allowed a small group per room due to covid.

Unfortunately disappointed. However still worth a go.

Guides were fantastic and knowledgeable. I was disappointed though because I have been on the self-guided tour during the day and the night tour barely takes you anywhere in the prison. Way too many people on the tour for it to feel scary. Groups should be much much smaller. The guest I brought was disappointed because the gift shop is not open at night. Day tours are much better value and much more in-depth.
